InContext Solutions is committed to ensuring the continuity of the products and services we provide to our customers during any disruptive incidents. Such incidents may arise from various sources, including IT failures, telecommunications issues, building-related problems, or external factors such as severe weather or public health emergencies.

Aims

  • Welfare of Staff and Visitors: Prioritize the health and safety of all employees and visitors present at our sites.

  • Effective Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with staff during periods of operational disruption to keep everyone informed and engaged.

  • Minimize Disruptions: Reduce the frequency and impact of significant operational disruptions to safeguard business continuity.

  • Service Delivery: Continue delivering agreed-upon products and services during operational disruptions to meet our customers' expectations.

  • Public Confidence and Reputation: Maintain public trust and protect the reputation of InContext Solutions by demonstrating our commitment to resilience and reliability.

Objectives

  • Alignment with Best Practices: Maintain a business continuity program that aligns with industry best practices, ensuring we are prepared to respond effectively to various threats.

  • Registry of Key Products and Services: Identify, assess, and prioritize key products and services along with their recovery time objectives (RTOs) to facilitate timely recovery.

  • Operational Risk Management: Document and analyze operational risks that threaten the delivery of our key products and services. Implement controls to manage these risks within acceptable levels.

  • Resource Availability: Ensure that the resources required to recover key products and services are available and maintained at all times.

  • Incident Management Plan: Create and regularly update a corporate incident management plan that outlines procedures for responding effectively and efficiently to incidents as they occur.

  • Communication Methodology: Establish a clear and effective communication method to inform all staff during a major incident, providing necessary guidance and updates.

  • Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans: Develop comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plans tailored for our key products, services, and IT applications, ensuring readiness for potential disruptions.

  • Regular Testing of Plans: Conduct regular exercises and reviews of all plans to verify their effectiveness and ensure they can be efficiently implemented during a disruption.

  • Supplier Continuity: Create, assess, prioritize, and maintain a register of key suppliers, ensuring they have robust business continuity arrangements that protect their service delivery to InContext Solutions and our customers.

  • Ongoing Review: Regularly review business continuity requirements to ensure they adapt to and reflect our current operational needs and challenges.
